Mental illness is a subject that is nearly taboo in society. Through months of collaborating and devising my colleges and I created a power physical theatre piece that helped may to understand the struggle that is living with mental illness. To light the piece I used bare light bulbs strung up through out the space at varying heights. These light bulbs became a fifth member of the ensemble as I cued them live on a two scene preset board in order to interact in real time with the performers.
